5G and Security
 
Topic abstract:
An overview of 5G and different security controls which have been defined to meet new use cases and address vulnerabilities of previous wireless generations.  
 
Speaker:  Jean-Luc Bouthemy
BIO: Jean-Luc is one of the main contributors in deploying 5G at T-Mobile. His main focus is securing 4G and 5G networks at T-Mobile. Jean-Luc is currently a cybersecurity architect at T-Mobile, previously I worked as Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Standardization and research engineer.
 
Jean-Luc has over 30 years of experience mainly in the telecom industry. He has been involved in many areas from mobile devices, radio networks, core network as well as back-end systems such as billing. Jean-Luc is an author or co-author of 16 US patents covering Virtual Reality, Voice over IP and various telecom technologies. He has been contributed in different standardization bodies.
