Hello again, Developer Community friends and speakers!

The holiday season has come and gone. A new year is upon us, and we now have ONE WEEK remaining in the CFP for KCDC 2023!!!

The call closes at 10:00 pm CST next Friday, January 20, so now is the time!

If you have already dropped in all your submissions for this year, that’s awesome. If not, and you don’t want to miss out, head on over to Sessionize and submit soon. We have 700+ abstracts already this year from people representing 29 different countries on six continents. It’s an opportunity to reconnect and make new friends from around the world. Won’t you join us, too?

As a reminder, this year’s conference will be held on June 21-23, 2023, with one day of pre-conference, hands-on workshops and two days featuring nearly 200 sessions across 15 tracks. We hope to hear from you and see you soon!

 What we're about

Welcome to the Cybersecurity Project. The purpose of the group is to increase cybersecurity awareness and develop future cybersecurity professionals. Join the group if you are interested in learning more about cybersecurity and want to get started by exploring ethical hacking and penetration testing. Events will focus on discussions of cybersecurity topics and ethical hacking events.

What we're about

We're computer programming enthusiasts in the Johnson County, Kansas area. We meet to discuss solutions to challenge problems. The group is primarily geared toward beginner and intermediate Python programmers, but is open to all skill levels and programming languages--if you've already mastered Python, it's a good opportunity to try something new.

We cover problems from the popular programming challenge sites like Project Euler, LeedCode, and Advent of Code. We encourage you to attempt the problems before the meeting, but it is not required.

Come practice programming with us!

Please join us for our January networking event. Our guest speaker is Britney Kennedy, Global BISO and Business Partner at Cardinal Health and a Founding Member of WiS-KC. She will share her extensive expertise on Operationalizing Security. We hope to see you there!
