Signing up on Meetup alone does not secure your spot. YOU MUST sign up via Eventbrite to ensure your ticket! → https://www.eventbrite.com/e/angular-pt-2-playing-with-blocks-angular-components-tickets-142441220525?aff=meetup

Ready to get knee deep in Angular? Coding & Cocktails continues its Angular series with this second session. We will be building a trivia app in Angular over four sessions:

• 03/13/2021: SPA Day (Intro to Single Page Applications)
• 04/10/2021: Playing with Blocks (Angular Components)
• 05/08/2021: Fake It 'Til You Make It (Data Binding & DOM Manipulation)
• 06/21/2021: Go Fetch (APIs)

In our second session, we will learn and apply the fundamentals of Angular, including modules, components, lifecycle hooks and routing. This two hour online session will include a presentation and time to work through a worksheet with support from mentors.

The Coding & Cocktails Angular series assumes knowledge of the basics of web development. We recommend this course for those who have completed a bootcamp, completed self-study in web development concepts, or attended web development workshops (including previous C&C sessions on HTML, CSS, JavaScript Part 1 and 2, Git and Command Line). We also recommend attending each session in order.

In short:

• Required knowledge includes HTML, CSS, JS, Git, node, npm, using the CLI and an IDE.
• Recommended knowledge includes ES6 constructs (classes, interfaces) and API fundamentals.

Although this may not be the right session for absolute beginners, we are here to support our attendees both in session and throughout the month on Slack. Feel free to reach out for help brushing up or good resources to review.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD ONLINE WITH DISCORD: https://discord.gg/wmFHB7y

Open to anyone in the area who is interested in developing video games. In order to have a little structure, we'll try to do a couple things each week:

Introduce new members. What have you worked on, game related or not? What do you want to work on next?

Discuss this week's conversation starter. Some article, video or game that we can dig into a little.

Members can present any games they're working on, for feedback or just to brag.

Of course, it's all very informal. The main goal is interesting conversation(s) about our passion.

Looking forward to it!

&lt;p&gt;April Atlassian Community Event- xRay Test Case Management for Jira. Fellow ACE member, Jason Wulff recently converted their SDLC (project) task management into Jira so we do directly interface to streamline the setup and creation of the test plans. A couple of benefits we found useful is the capability to provide coverage for requirements, report on the coverage, easy to setup test plans, no more paper test plans, and the reusability of the tests.&lt;/p&gt;</p>
