UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD ONLINE WITH DISCORD: https://discord.gg/wmFHB7y

Open to anyone in the area who is interested in developing video games. In order to have a little structure, we'll try to do a couple things each week:

Introduce new members. What have you worked on, game related or not? What do you want to work on next?

Discuss this week's conversation starter. Some article, video or game that we can dig into a little.

Members can present any games they're working on, for feedback or just to brag.

Of course, it's all very informal. The main goal is interesting conversation(s) about our passion.

Looking forward to it!

Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 7:00:00 PM Online event

As we always do in January, we'll meet online to plan our calendar for the year. Now is the time to bring us your perfect vision for the next year!

- What things would you like to learn in 2022?

- What are the newest skills and topics we should cover?

- What programs have you seen but have no clue how to use?

- Which speakers are your favorites?

- Where should we do our photowalk?

-Should we start planning for in-person meetings soon, or wait for the Omicron wave to pass?

-Is meetup the best way to stay in touch, or should we look for some other way? If it is the best way, what is a good way to allow interested members to contribute to the $120/year cost? (Meetings will always be free to attend, but some of you have asked how to help with our platform costs)

Bring your best ideas and meet us here...online...and earn a raffle ticket for the upcoming June CC giveaway. We'll meet in the Zoom space and discuss what you would like to learn in the upcoming year.

Thanks for helping make 2021 a success for our group in a rough year! Come help us decide how to make 2022 even better.

We will be sending out a survey to the whole membership soon, please take a few minutes to fill it out, even if you can't attend the meeting Tuesday.

Please register at the link below. (Must be registered to attend): https://www.tibco.com/events/digital-twins-and-self-sovereign-identity

The rise of advanced analytics, machine learning (ML) / artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) has made possible digital twin simulation. Digital twins are virtual digital models of physical entities that are used to experiment and ultimately make better decisions for the real world things being emulated. The digital models are usually dependent on sensors and include two-way interaction with the physical system.

The growth of smart IoT devices—those with an increasing amount of processing capability—has resulted in more use cases where devices enact complex and independent functions. These devices must both provide cryptographic trust to participate in data exchange and be assured they can trust the network and nodes with which they communicate. Managing IoT devices and user identities, as well as the relationships among various devices and their digital twins, involves significant challenges. A lack of Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) standards for IoT causes proprietary standards and a lack of interoperability. The world needs a digital trust framework, decentralized architecture, and decentralized identity. In addition, especially in industries such as healthcare, digital twins encounter volumes of sensitive data regulated for privacy. Both the digital twin and the person whose data is being used would greatly benefit from a privacy-preserving data-protection capability afforded by decentralized identity.

Join this session to learn about:
1. The IoT and healthcare digital twin landscape
2. Challenges of digital identity and ICAM in IoT and digital twins
3. How to apply decentralized identity
4. How TIBCO and LFPH is advancing SSI in IoT for industry use

Speakers:
Nelson Petracek, Global Chief Technology Officer, TIBCO Software Inc
Jim St.Clair, Executive Director, Linux Foundation Public Health

Among other things, the web is a place where society engages, shares knowledge, and exchanges opinions on matters from politics to education and culture to science. Open Web is a term that encompasses progress in building a web by and for all, one that promotes free expression and inclusion among a more informed public with more civic participation and opportunities to learn from each other.

As technology evolves, it will continue to support the reshaping and improvement of open standards that allow the web to be defined by its users.

**THIS IS A 2-DAY, 2-PART CLASS. FIRST PART IS ON SATURDAY, NOON UNTIL YOUR KNIFE IS READY TO HEAT TREAT.
SECOND PART IS ON SUNDAY, NOON UNTIL YOUR KNIFE IS COMPLETED.**

Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 7:00:00 PM Online event
