Drones have proven to be a tremendous resource for GIS applications. Drones can be used to produce high resolution/ high accuracy orthophotography as well as detailed surface models. These drone generated deliverables are successfully used by large organizations everywhere. While the use of these systems and the integration of these products is very successful, there are other use cases where the integration of drone technology has proven difficult. Drones are excellent tools for Inspection and asset management. Drones can reach locations that are difficult otherwise. The challenge however has been managing the information from the drone and properly integrating into the rest of your asset information. In this demonstration, we will show how your field-collected drone data can be integrated directly into your GIS workflow and collected and displayed intuitively using augmented reality so that all of your data is managed in one location. We will show some operational use cases for these workflows as well.
