AWS Lambda is an event-driven, serverless computing platform provided by Amazon as a part of the Amazon Web Services. It is a computing service that runs code in response to events and automatically manages the computing resources required by that code. Come learn how to leverage your Java Skills to build and deploy AWS Lambda services and jump into the AWS Serverless ecosystem.

About the speaker:
Andrew Rubalcaba is a Java Developer for 806 Technologies. He has spent the last couple of years developing Spring/JEE solutions for various clients. When Andrew is not programming he enjoys traveling with his wife Sonia and spending time with their dogs Bootsy and Dixie Belle, crossfit, drinking craft beer, and going to concerts.
