Happy New Year, everyone!

Guess what?  OWASP Kansas City <https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Kansas_City> is coming out of hibernation in 2016!

We will be holding meetings the 4th Tuesday of each month (opposite SecKC <https://seckc.github.io/Web/> on the 2nd Tuesday of every month), at a location to be determined - most likely in the downtown/midtown/plaza area, to try to make them convenient to as many people as possible.

The first meeting of the year will be January 26th, 2016, and is currently scheduled for the downtown Kansas City Public Library, though the location may change, depending on attendance.  (This will not be the recurring location going forward, but was convenient for this month.)

Arian Evans from RiskIQ will be speaking about malware, malvertising, and the risk and impact of these problems on web applications.

If you will be able to make it, please register at

so we have an idea how many people to expect!

If you've got a topic and would be interested in speaking at an upcoming meeting, or know someone who would be interested, please let me know!

Also, please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have!
