Microfrontends let you break your large monolithic applications into smaller focused applications. They can give your teams greater autonomy to experiment and deploy without blocking other groups. Seems too easy, right? But wouldn't you force your users to download framework code over and over?

Skeptical? Don't worry, I was too. But when you combine microfrontends with import maps, a spec that allows you to use ES6 imports without bundling code, you get the advantages of multiple repositories without the burden of extra code for your users.

In this talk, I'll take you through the basics of building microfrontends using React, SingleSpa, and SystemJS. You'll build applications that load by route or in parallel and can share data while remaining autonomous.
