Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 12:00:00 PM The NEW HammerSpace Community Workshop 5200 E. 45th St., Kansas City, MO

In this woodworking class, we will be building decorative aircraft propellers!

Each finished propeller is more than 5 feet long and made from easy to work with pine.
We'll look at how the CNC Machine carves the basic shape of the propeller, then use sanders
and elbow grease to refine the shape.

Finally we will stain, paint, and clear coat your propeller to have whatever final appearance you'd like!
This project is a ton of fun! And at the end, you'll have your own propeller to hang on your wall
and make up a swashbuckling air pirate story about!

Part of this class will be in our wood shop. You will need to wear appropriate clothes and closed
toe shoes. Please be aware that the workshop is not air conditioned. Outside food and drinks are welcome.

Suggested age range: 18 and over

Class Price: $90/person (all materials included)
