HUG Access SIG Meeting 6:30 pm, July 18, 2018, at JCCC, Regnier Center - 3rd Floor, RC 353

Presentation:   Null Propagation
Presenter:   Bill Diamond

Description:  Do you need to format fields with punctuation but those fields may be null in some cases leaving spaces, punctuation or both behind. You could write a function for this need but Access has a way to handle this with how you set up your text string. We will demonstrate this little trick, causing Access to do what we want.

Presenter Bio:  Bill Diamond is a twenty-five year plus member of the Heartland Users Group and he has been using Access since version 1.0. In recent years his endeavors has not needed his expertise in this area but he keeps his hands wet from time to time. This presentation is just one of the little tricks he plays with every now and then.

Q&A Session:  Bring your Access questions for the group to answer, explore or brainstorm ideas.
