Elixir is a high-level language with powerful abstractions, but haven't you wanted to peel away the covers and see what's underneath? Rather than focus on the language itself, we'll look at the virtual machine that it runs on (BEAM) and walk through a compiler for a simple language that writes BEAM assembly as output.
