join us AGAIN, as Nick and Kyle lead a discussion about freelancing and the realities of making a living in the video industry (and similar creative fields). Whether you're thinking about making the jump, are already moonlighting/freelancing full-time, or just interested in listening, we'd love to have your thoughts. While Nick and Kyle will be steering the discussion, we are hoping to get your input as well, so come ready to talk! Last month we had fantastic group conversation and the meeting was.not.long.engough! ENTER PART 2!

As always, our meeting is free to attend and open to all. See you there!

Nick Schale started 29 Pixel Studios when he went full-time self-employed in 2013, but has been freelancing since 2003. 29 Pixel Studios mainly focuses on video production but also has a strong photography offering. Nick is also the creator of the "Business Tips for Creatives" podcast.

Kyle Hamrick also began doing freelance work on the side in 2003, and went full-time as a freelancer/running a small studio, The Feral Few, in 2010. He just presented on this topic (along with Jessica Thomas) at this year's Adobe Video World.

We also have several regulars who have been successfully self-employed and/or running their own businesses for years. We're really looking forward to a great informative discussion!
