Many of you probably know what Chocolatey is, but did you know Chocolatey is primarily the product of one of our own local developers, Rob Reynolds(@ferventcoder)?

To me, Chocolatey helps me install software on my PC quickly, especially when I have several programs I want to load on a new PC or into a new VM.

Chocolatey is a package manager for Windows. It was designed to be a decentralized framework for quickly installing applications and tools that you need. It is built on the NuGet infrastructure currently using PowerShell as its focus for delivering packages from the distros to your door, err computer.

Now, Chocolatey is asking for our help to go to the next level and insure the product can continue.  Chocolatey is doing this by running a Kickstarter campaign.

I encourage you to join this Kickstarter to support this product that is a benefit to us all; and especially to do so if you already use Kickstarter and know how awesome it is.
