March 3rd: Initial UXPA Kansas City Chapter Meeting

I am excited to announce there is a UXPA chapter forming in KC and that KCUX is exuberant to join them in their initial efforts. Thus, both our teams will collaborate together in expanding UX outreach in KC.

The UXPA KC chapter will have their first public event on:
---Monday evening March 3rd
---at the Sprint Accelerator
This first evening (during KC Design Week) will feature a forum of UX-ers and there will be a ceremony to make the local UXPA chapter official. More details about this event will be posted next week.

The UXPA KC interim board -
---Amanda Woods/Hallmark,
---Will van Norel/Cerner,
---Brian Mills/Sprint
---and Jon Kohrs/Federal Reserve
- would love to work with you, talented UX people, to build a vibrant UX community.

If you are interested in getting involved and or becoming a founding member, there is an invitation-only event on February 3rd (next week!) where the interim board will discuss their plans. Let UXPA KC know if you would like to be invited to this event by sending an email to [email protected]. More about UXPA international https://uxpa.org/ .

So join KCUX and the UXPA KC on February 3 and March 3 to kick off this exciting new venture of expanding UX in KC.
