Overview:   

Tired of paying for an expensive monitoring solution? Zabbix is the answer!  Zabbix is an open-source monitoring solution that can be used to monitor a variety of platforms and software. This powerful solution collects, displays, and archives, performance statistics and metrics from Unix and Windows and can be configured to collect metrics from other software and platforms as well (including SQL Server).  Zabbix can also be configured to alarm based on thresholds and conditions you set up. Monitor and maintain your whole enterprise from this one centralized solution!  This session will cover how to use Zabbix and configure it to monitor Sql Server.
