As organizations are finding themselves in the middle of a data explosion, the unfortunate reality is that enterprise storage offerings, no matter how good they are, only satisfy part of the overall data needs. Corporate data also must be backed-up, archived, retained and vaulted to an off-site location during its lifecycle. As a result, IT infrastructures have designed and implemented sophisticated backup processes, disk-to-disk backup systems, data de-duplication and compression appliances along with some type of off-site vaulting process to meet these back-up, archival, and data retention requirements. This not only adds significant cost and complexity it also creates silos of hardware and software platforms along with the need for separate tools and unique operational procedures to meet these requirements. This layering of complexity on top of complexity not only comes at a very high price both financially and operationally it also significantly limits a corporation’s overall agility and flexibility in their chosen marketplace.
Learn how Windows Azure cloud storage solutions like Cloud Integrated Enterprise Storage from StorSimple can marry the functionality of enterprise storage with the scalability, capability and economics of cloud based storage.
Lunch will be provided. Seating is limited, RSVP today! http://www.clicktoattend.com/?id=159594
