Hello, everyone!

We're super excited to host our next partnered Modern Web KC + Modern Web NWA + Modern Web + Triangle Modern Web event!

In order to keep everyone safe during this global pandemic, we're continuing to host our events online! Our priority is to keep everyone healthy and safe, and hopefully this event will help us connect with each other, while also practicing safe social distancing.

Special thanks to our sponsors - All Things Open, Commerce Tools, & KendoReact!

Come and join us virtually for some awesome talks + JavaScript Jeopardy on August 5th, 2020 from 4pm - 7pm -- we will be live-streaming via YouTube!

Our featured speakers so far are...

Robert Aboukhalil
Bioinformatics Software Engineer, Invitae
"A Whirlwind Tour of WebAssembly"
JavaScript was born in the late 90's and, for over 20 years, was the only scripting language you could use reliably in a browser. That all changed in 2017, when WebAssembly came onto the scene. This talk is an introduction to WebAssembly: what it is, why it's awesome, and how to start using it. As concrete examples, I'll present two applications I built where WebAssembly helped enable both high performance and code re-use.

Drew Wallis
Director of Education, NWA3D
"How digital manufacturing (and specifically 3D printing) is changing the way we learn and interact with the world"

Stay tuned for more updates on speakers & talk details!

Can't wait to interact with everyone virtually - stay safe!
