Heidi is a developer advocate with LaunchDarkly. She delights in working at the intersection of usability, risk reduction, and cutting-edge technology. One of her favorite hobbies is talking to developers about things they already knew but had never thought of that way before. She sews all her conference dresses so that she's sure there is a pocket for the mic.

LaunchDarkly is a company that produces a SaaS-based feature flag management system helpful in the development, testing, and deployment of web-based software applications. It enables testing in production and the ability to carefully control the blast radius of new features. Come hear representatives discuss effective strategies for implementing feature flags and managing long term.

We'll have food and beer. (More details coming. Please comment with special requests.)

H&R Block is located at 1301 Main Street, KCMO 64105. There is a parking garage located under the green oval glass building. It's accessible from both Walnut and Main. When you get to the gate press the button and let the security person know you're here for DevOpsKC. They'll open the gate. Park in a visitor spot. Walk down until you see the elevator behind a glass door. Take it to the lobby. We'll have signs to direct you to the Knowledge Center room where we'll meet.

This meetup will be recorded and uploaded to the DevOpsKC Youtube channel after the event. There will probably not be a livestream.

For all DevOpsKC Meetups, we follow the DevOpsDays Code of Conduct: https://devopsdays.org/events/2019-kansas-city/conduct/
