Topic:
Innovation & Virtualization, keeping creativity alive virtually

Topic Summary:

Innovation is what is required for organizations to be successful, yet in today's environment of speed and agility, the only way to achieve such goals is through virtualization.  Are you struggling with what virtualization means to you and your organization?  Do you understand how to maintain an innovative environment while pressing forward into the virtualized world?

You must foster a specific environment to keep innovation moving in the virtual world.  In order to engage clients more intimately and longer term your organization must be able to work without the limits of physical location and bureaucracy.  Every organization can benefit from a virtualized environment to improve its competitive advantage and operational efficiencies through innovative virtualization.

Key Takeaways
  1. Identify innovation and how to create a safe environment for it to happen
  2. Abstract the software from the hardware to allow employees to work without boundaries
  3. Learn how to keep bureaucracy from destroying your virtualization initiative
  4. Visualize your own challenges to virtualization and learn to overcome them
  5. Implement a service driven model to improve IT efficiencies
  6. Avoid strangulation of innovation through the silo trap
