• What we'll do
Abstract:

Have you been waiting to hear a story about a real cultural transformation here in KC? Well, your wait is over! Scott Morris has been leading an incredible transformation at a 150 year-old non-profit, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. As with most transformations, this one is both technical and cultural. Scott will be focusing on the cultural aspects like building consensus, continuous learning, creating a call-to-action, and continually motivating the company. This information will be helpful even if your culture is already awesome.

Speaker Bio:

Scott Morris is the Chief Technology Officer at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Prior to NAIC he was SVP of App Dev at UMB, responsible for the development and support of technology solutions across multiple lines of business. During his 15 years at UMB, he was responsible for the technology to support consumer and business online banking solutions, mobile banking, online payments, mutual fund accounting, hedge fund accounting, brokerage, as well as many other consumer websites and applications. He was instrumental in the creation of the online payments product, an integrated solution processing millions of ACH and credit card payments from the web, and led a technology team to develop one of the largest healthcare savings accounts (HSA) platforms in the country.
