  • Abstract
JHipster (Java Hipster) is an open source Yeoman generator to quickly produce Spring + AngularJS projects. It focuses on generating high quality apps with a Java back-end using Spring technologies (Boot, Security, Data, etc.), an AngularJS front-end, and a development environment using tools like Maven, Browsersync, Liquibase, Gulp.js, Bower, and many others.
JDL (JHipster Domain Language) allows you to automatically generate your database schema, REST endpoint, and AngularJS interfaces from a single file. In this talk, we'll walk through the whole process of generating a simple app utilizing JHipster and JDL.
Garrett is a software consultant at Keyhole Software. He has worked on multiple projects that utilized JHipster (including Keyhole Software's recently released wireframing tool, MockOla) and likes its ability to quickly prototype a full-stack application. He is currently working with a client based in Denver, CO focused on an AngularJS + Spring based social networking application.
