Grant Stanley has been the CEO of Contemporary Analysis (CAN) for the last 8 years. CAN uses predictive analytics to create solutions for Fortune 500 companies and political campaigns. CAN employs creative people that spend their days working on some of the most challenging problems in business and politics. We have developed solutions for mission critical problems in construction, healthcare, higher education, insurance, transportation, telecommunications, and banking.

In a recent Gubernatorial Race, CAN predicted who was going to vote and who they were going to vote for with pinpoint accuracy. Three weeks from the primary CAN correctly predicted: voter turnout to within 0.27%, and the vote count to within 2.8%. With this level of accuracy, campaigns can know with authority who they need to focus on to win--by name, by vote.

During this presentation, Grant will discuss how CAN is using predictive analytics to help run more effective political campaigns. Using Predictive Analytics, campaigns can see trends and patterns in data predicting the votes they need to win, how each voter will vote, what individual voters care about, and how to change a voter’s mind. With CAN’s insights campaigns are able to ensure their success by motivating the right voter, with the right phone call, at the right time. Predictive Analytics can help any campaign achieve their ultimate goal — winning.
