Overview: This session will focus on capturing key events occurring inside your server. These can include new logins, permission changes, new or updated database objects, failed logins, application errors, user-generated events , and SQL Server error log events. Features covered include SQL Server Audit, Extended Events, Event Tracking, Trace, and DDL triggers. As always, lots of demonstrations and real-world scenarios.

About Speaker: Bill Graziano is a SQL Server consultant that specializes in tuning OLTP systems and database administration.  He’s a SQL Server MVP and serves on the Board of Directors for PASS (The Professional Association for SQL Server).  He runs a SQL Server web site for DBAs and developers at  Bill has presented at PASS and numerous regional and local events around the country.


Please note, this will be an afternoon meeting at the Overland Park Microsoft Office, drinks and snacks will be available.
