Join us on Thursday, November 18th for a one of a kind Apache Kafka® meetup, Kafka Jeopardy!

Tim Berglund will be our host as our contestants Anna McDonald of Confluent, Jason Bell of Digitalis, and Neil Buesing of Rill Data battle it out for the top spot on our first installment of Kafka Jeopardy!

Come prepared to laugh and learn!

This will be viewer powered as much as possible! If you would like, please submit your categories and questions to [email protected] and reference in the subject line "For the November 18 Kafka Jeopardy meetup." Please submit by November 16th.

Bios of our host and contestants:
Tim Berglund, Senior Director of Developer Relations, Confluent
Our host Tim is a teacher, author, and technology leader with Confluent, where he serves as the Senior Director of Developer Relations. He can frequently be found speaking at conferences in the United States and all over the world. He is the co-presenter of various O'Reilly training videos on topics ranging from Git to Distributed Systems, and is the author of Gradle Beyond the Basics. He tweets as @tlberglund, blogs very occasionally at http://timberglund.com , writes at https://cnfl.io/blog-tim-berglund , is the co-host of the http://devrelrad.io podcast, and lives in Littleton, CO, USA with the wife of his youth and their youngest child, the other two having mostly grown up.

Anna McDonald
Anna is a Principal Customer Success Technical Architect at Confluent. Prior to joining Confluent, she was a Principal Software Developer with SAS Institute. She specializes in integration architecture and event streaming. Her most recent work includes the creation of the Derivative Events design pattern. A speaker at Kafka Summit and Jfokus her love of all things technical is matched only by her love of math puns. @jbfletch_.

Jason Bell
Jason is a Kafka DevOps Engineer for Digitalis, Kafka Summit Europe speaker, player of the utterly baffling Chapman Stick, and avid tea drinker. Neil Buesing
Neil has recently joined Rill Data as a Principal Solutions Architect working with the Customer Success team. He had lead software projects in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, insurance, and healthcare. He is a Kafka Summit and Kafka Meetup speaker. His passion is helping others with updating their real-time event streaming, and he enjoys sharing about many aspects of the Kafka ecosystem. You can follow him on Twitter: @nbuesing.
