Title: Is passwordless really a thing, or just another fad?

Abstract:

It could be time to seriously consider going without any passwords whatsoever, what has been called "passwordless." The term is a bit of a misnomer, but there has lately been some action, including better Windows Hello support, and other vendors such as HYPR, Iovation, AuthO and SecretDoubleOctopus, along with better FIDO support too. It may be time to finally toss that RSA SecurID key fob – or not. I will cover these and other vendors, talk about how you implement them, what are some of the gotchas, and some other issues to consider.

He spoke at the STL IAM meetup way back in December 2015 on SSO product selection. He has lived in the Central West End in St. Louis for 15 years.
