In this class we will be making a set of iron age steel cutlery, including a fork, spoon and feasting knife.
We will be working mild steel using the forge, anvil, swage block, hammers, tongs and brazing torch as well as a grinder to finish the feasting blade.
Learn all the basic tools for basic blacksmithing while making a beautiful place setting for your next camping trip, historical reenactment, or LARP.
This class is suitable for makers 14 to 114 provided you are able to swing a hammer.
