About Claire:

Claire Wasserman is an educator, author, and founder of Ladies Get Paid, a global community and educational platform that champions the professional and financial advancement of women. She is also the producer and host of John Hancock's podcast, "Friends Who Talk About Money". Claire has traveled the country teaching thousands of women how to negotiate millions of dollars in raises, start businesses, and advocate for themselves in the workplace. Claire was named one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Most Powerful Women and is a highly-sought-after expert for Fortune 500 companies working to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within their organizations. She's spoken at places such as Facebook, Harvard, and the United Nations Foundation, as well as partnerships with Nike, Indeed, and the City of Los Angeles, among others.

About Ashley:

A huge advocate for EdTech, Ashley Turner is currently an Academic Technologist at Swarthmore College where she trains faculty, staff, and students on learning technology software and shows them how to use them in more meaningful ways. At Swarthmore, Ashley leads initiatives around blended, active, and online learning. She also serves as Chair for Swarthmore's WOC Employee Resource Group. She is also a member of the Young Professional Advisory Committee for EDUCAUSE. With 7 years of design, learning development, and technical training experience, Ashley strives to help people learn better through the use of technology.

Not only is Ashley passionate about EdTech, but she is also on a mission to help diversify the tech industry by getting more women of color involved in the field. She is the recipient of the 2019 Technically Philly Award for Impact Leader of the Year where she was recognized for her work with running Philly Tech Sistas. Philly Tech Sistas is an organization that aims to help women of color get more involved in the technology field by providing technical and professional development workshops. More recently, she was just listed as one of Philadelphia Business Journal's Power 100, and she has officially become a board member of Philadelphia Sinfonia, a youth orchestra that supports the artistic growth of young musicians in the Delaware Valley.
