Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 5:30:00 PM Online event

Hello, everyone!

We're super excited to be hosting our last event of 2020 with Modern Web, Modern Web NWA, GDGSV, Code Craftmanship Saturdays, TriangleJS, Triangle Node.js, GDG Triangle, & RTP Angular.js!

As always, in order to keep everyone safe during this global pandemic, we're continuing to host our events online! Our priority is to keep everyone healthy and safe, and hopefully this event will help us connect with each other, while also practicing safe social distancing.

Special thanks to our sponsors - All Things Open, Commerce Tools, & KendoReact!

Come and join us virtually for some awesome talks + JavaScript Jeopardy on November 18th, 2020 from 5:30pm - 7pm -- we will be live-streaming via YouTube!

Our featured speakers so far are…

Sander Elias, Bonnie Brennan, & Sam Brennan
"Don't Block Your Stack!"
JavaScript is supposed to be synchronous and single threaded but we use asynchronous functions all the time - what's going on? It may seem simple but it's quite complex under the hood, leading to confusion and bugs even for experienced JavaScript developers. For this talk, Angular GDEs Sander Elias (@sanderelias) and Bonnie Brennan (@bonnster75) get some help (and awesome 3D animations!) from Sam Brennan (@thelittlestdev) to show you what's really happening under the v8 hood.

Stay tuned for more updates on speakers & talk details!

Can't wait to interact with everyone virtually - stay safe!
