Let's meet to discuss some coding problems! I was thinking we could start with the first five Project Euler problems: https://projecteuler.net/archives ("Multiples of 3 and 5" through "Smallest Multiple").

This will be a casual meeting. You don't need to have worked on all - or any! - of the problems before coming. Those of us who have finished solutions can discuss the approaches we took and what we learned along the way, and those who are still working are welcome to talk through any difficulties you're encountering.

These problems have something to offer developers of various skill levels. Beginners should find them to be good practice in writing an algorithm to solve a well-defined problem. Experienced developers may wish to use the problems for trying out a new programming language, or may enjoy trying to find the most concise or most efficient solutions. You can often discover really interesting mathematical facts in the process of trying to find faster solutions to Project Euler problems.

I've reserved the small meeting room. It's conveniently marked with a sign saying "Small Meeting Room". Click here for event
