Making Our Own GraphQL Server with Ruby - Andy Ogzewalla

* We will start off by introducing GraphQL, discuss what it is and how it differs from REST. Then we will write our own queries and use helpful development tools to explore GraphQL's features.
* With a firm grasp on features and syntax, we will continue by implementing a fully-functional GraphQL server from scratch.
* Finally, we will see how easy it is to add GraphQL to your existing projects by integrating it into a Rails application. This will also give us the opportunity to experience using a variety of data stores behind our GraphQL API.

Doors will open at 6:00 and the meeting will start at 6:30.

BalancePoint will be providing pizza and pop.
