Practical Tools and Techniques for Architecting and Maintaining High Performing SharePoint 2013 Environments

Each version of SharePoint has grown in complexity and sophistication, and that trend is continuing. From Office Web Apps to Workflows to Search to Distributed Cache, SharePoint 2013 has gotten more complicated and requires significantly more resources. This session will briefly explore various architectures to support varying business needs. We will then discuss in detail what tools and techniques you can use to tweak and monitor your environment to improve its performance and reliability.

Doug Hemminger is Senior SharePoint Solutions Architect at Protiviti and a Microsoft SharePoint Server MVP. He has more than 15 years of experience developing innovative software solutions. Although he is primarily a developer focused on SharePoint, Doug is adept at seeing the bigger picture, recognizing how a particular software solution meets an organization's larger goals. He holds several Microsoft SharePoint Technical Certifications.
