We're having a KCWiT movie night to see Battle of the Sexes on opening weekend, September 28th. Come early or stay late... or both! We'll do dinner beforehand and drinks after.

Starring Emma Stone and Steve Carell, Battle of the Sexes is the true story of the 1973 tennis match between World number one Billie Jean King and ex-champ and serial hustler Bobby Riggs.

Movie times have not been announced, but the tentative plan is:
- an early dinner on the Plaza
- movie at Cinemark
- drinks at The Monarch Bar (fancy new lounge & home of Coding & Cocktails bartender Laura Wagner)

The movie is PG-13 and is 2 hours long. All three events will be within walking distance of each other.

Every Thursday, the members of Hammerspace gather to socialize, network, and meet new members of the space. We welcome the community at large to come down during this time to explore the workshop, check out all of the tools, fabrication equipment and work space made available to HammerSpace members, and ask questions of our community of Hammerspace users.

There is a concession stand and kids playroom available, and the evening is always the origin point of new and amazing creative ideas.

Tours are led every 30 minutes for those curious about the tools and capabilities of the facility and staff. This is a free event, open to the public.

All programmers write bugs.  Good programmers find them and fix them. This class will walk through the methods and approaches for software testing.  It will cover how to have a software quality mindset, how to approach testing with both manual and automated means, and how to identify test cases. An overview of common testing frameworks will be discussed.  Come and learn how to find the problems hiding in yours or other people's code.
