This is a bar and grill, so if you get there early, plenty of places to hang out and have a drink or whatever.... This is in downtown Historic Square in Independence, MO.
Update - I just spoke with Emily Hagan from Plantronics and they have agreed to sponsor the SpiceCorps meeting! They also will do a headset giveaway and help with food and refreshments - Stay tuned for the location!
We have a Spice University training class (not announced yet) that will be scheduled for October 9th, in Independence, MO. Rivitir (James Stull) is the Spice U Trainer who will be teaching that class - James asked me if we could put together a SpiceCorps that night to give his students a chance to come to a SC meeting and meet other SpiceHeads - I'm glad to oblige! I'm going to try to setup some tables at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, so this will be more of a meet and greet social meet up - I"m also going to try to get a sponsor for this meet up. This does not replace the Zoo SpiceCorps meetup - that is still in the works, I'll probably give an update on that at this meeting.
So come out and support one of our Spice University Trainers and some new spice heads and hang out for another great SpiceCorps meetup!

  • Open to anyone in the area who is interested in developing video games. In order to have a little structure, we'll try to do a couple things each week:
    • Introduce new members. What have you worked on, game related or not? What do you want to work on next?
    • Discuss this week's conversation starter. Some article, video or game that we can dig into a little.
    • Members can present any games they're working on, for feedback or just to brag.
Of course, it's all very informal. The main goal is interesting conversation(s) about our passion.
    Looking forward to it!
