DevOps Katas: Build a CI Pipeline with Docker, Git, and Jenkins by Dave Swersky

DevOps Katas: Hands-On DevOps is a book about software delivery, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and more. The book is in development, and I can use your help making it better!

Katas are short exercises, designed to be practiced repeatedly. DevOps Katas are based on code katas, from the Software Craftsmanship movement. They are designed to be fast and easy to execute, so you can practice often and retain what you learn.

I'll share the kata chapters, which are draft-complete. We'll do a crash course in the three major DevOps tools covered in the book: Docker, Git, and Jenkins. You'll get a chance to preview the katas, and take them home. If you want to follow along, you can download the DevOps Katas Learning VM from http://www.devopskatas.com. The Ubuntu-based Learning VM is a completely free companion to the book, and includes all the software you need to run the katas. By the time we're finished, we'll have built a complete Continuous Integration pipeline from scratch.

The building is restricted so we will provide an access code closer to the event Click here for event
