Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00:00 PM The NEW HammerSpace Community Workshop 5200 E. 45th St., Kansas City, MO

Do you have old t-shirts that you can't bear to throw out? Bring your tees to our first "Upcycled Sewing" class and turn them into reusable grocery totes or trick-or-treat bags as we go over some sewing basics and get you more familiar with sewing machines. Whether you want one or ten, our instructor will show you how.

HammerSpace will have some random, wacky t-shirts on hand just in case you forget to bring your own. We suggest medium sized or larger shirts, preferable 100% cotton or a blend that isn't too stretchy.

Recommended age rage: 14 years or older

Class Instructor: Laura Bowerman (Fiber Arts Expert)
