Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00:00 AM The NEW HammerSpace Community Workshop 5200 E. 45th St., Kansas City, MO

For ages 8-16 years old

Your Junior Maker will learn the basics of 3D printing and design in this fun-filled class! We'll begin by learning how 3D printers work and experimenting hands-on with printable and non-printable shapes, then we'll learn how to design our own 3D printable shapes using free 3D modeling software, and we'll end by watching the printers print something cool! Each child will get to take home a 3D printed object of their choice.

If possible, each child should bring a laptop (Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, or Linux).

Please note: Due to time constraints, it will not be possible to print the participants' design's from the class. Prints of these designs may be able to be ordered separately for a small fee.
