  • Supercomputing 2016 is being held in Salt Lake City, Utah. What is SC16? I would sum it up as "Big computers doing big research." Their page is a bit more eloquent:
"High Performance Computing (HPC) matters because HPC is powering revolutionary advances in quality of life – for everyone...There is no better place to see why HPC matters to our lives, our future, our communities, and our world...SC16 will bring together the international supercomputing community—a gathering of scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, programmers, system administrators and developers that is unequaled in the world. "
Stack will be going this year and attending the Intel Developer Conference, the Anaconda Python Workshop, and will be meeting with multiple dozens of companies. There will be good stories.
    There will be cool tech.
    There will be amazing vendors.
And yes, there will be shwag. Lots and lots of goodies...which I tend to share with those that attend the meetings. :-D
As our last meeting of the year, come and listen to the cool tech powering the top super computers in the world and hear about the research that they are doing. It will be a good time.
