9201 Ward Parkway, Kansas CityMO (map)
  • Adam Bell will be joining us from Seattle on his way to Windy City Rails to talk about NIRDHOST. He will give an intro on it, talk about how they're different from EngineYard or Heroku, and demo migrating an application from Heroku to NIRDHOST.

Darren Cauthon will give a talk on Huginn. Huginn is a very popular Rails application that can be used to automate personal tasks and keep yourself updated.  Darren will be presenting how the application works, how easy it is to contribute "agents," and how Huginn uses Docker to create very simple deploys to any webhost.

Doors will open at 6:30 and presentations will begin around 7:00.
BalancePoint will be providing pizza and pop.
