  • Building your First IoT Project
So you've written hello world (blinked an LED) a hundred times with your Raspberry Pi or other IoT device, you've read books and endless blog posts, been super excited about projects you've seen on Instructables or Hackster.io, but still don't have the confidence to jump in and make your first REAL IoT project.  We'll go over some ideas for good starter projects, and build one from start to finish!
    Speaker: Adam Barney (@cabarney)
Adam is a nerd. That kept me humble and nearly friendless (*sniff*) through school, but I wear it as a badge of honor now. After buying a Commodore 64 with money from his paper route in the 4th grade, he’s never stopped learning about computers and how to make these stupid machines do cool things. I am a Microsoft C# MVP and ASP Insider, running my independent consulting company from my home in Lincoln, NE. In my spare time, I run a user group and a couple developer conferences, and generally take on way more work than I have time for. I can also be found speaking at many mid-west user groups, code camps and developer conferences.
