  • Hello everyone, there has been an update to this meetup. Instead of lightning talks, the evening will just be dedicated to a social with drinks, appetizers, and great conversation around Pivotal Cloud Foundry!
The Pivotal Cloud Native Roadshow will be in KC on June 13th during the day (http://pivotal.io/event/pivotal-cloud-native-roadshow/), and afterwards the Pivotal crew is sticking around to have a social with the Cloud Foundry Meetup from 4pm to 7pm next door at 801 ChopHouse.  Please join us next door to the Pivotal Cloud Native Roadshow for drinks, appetizers and discussion with the Pivotal experts!  801 ChopHouse is located at 71 E 14th St, in the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City, MO.
Come join us for a social with the expert practitioners at Pivotal. We will have:

    Casey West @caseywest
Working in Internet infrastructure, web app security, and design taught Casey to be a paranoid, UX-oriented, problem solving Internet plumber; his earliest contributions to Perl live to this day on your Mac. Casey’s speaking and writing ranges from open source communities and culture to technical architecture and automation tips and tricks. Casey West wears the mantle of Principal Technologist focused on Pivotal’s Cloud Foundry Platform.
    Kenny Bastani @kennybastani
Kenny Bastani is a Spring Developer Advocate at Pivotal. As a passionate blogger and open source contributor, Kenny engages a community of passionate developers on topics ranging from graph databases to microservices. Kenny is a co-author of the O’Reilly book Cloud Native Java: Designing Resilient Systems with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Cloud Foundry.
    Fred Melo @fredmelo_br
Fred has been working with Cloud Foundry since its origins and writing software for longer than he’d like to admit. He works as a Technical Director at Pivotal, is specially passionate about scalable and resilient software architectures, and spends his time speaking to communities and helping customers on their journey to transform through software.
