  • Picking up where we left off in June (creating Linux and Windows Git servers) we will be:
--  Implementing a simple ASP.NET team project with Visual Studio 2013
--  Using the Repositories we created in June
--  Using of most of the Git commands including fetch / pull / merge / rebase / stash / squash / rebase interactive
--  Implementing actual workflow during the project
--  Interaction between all of us members of the team
--  We will also work with GitLab/GitHub

Here is some homework (stuff to accomplish) for everyone to do prior to arriving for July's session:
--  Bring your laptop and have Visual Studio 2013 installed (hopefully everyone will have that version in common)
--  Install the Git native software on your DEV laptop (see Video #3 that is posted on the Ray Harris's GitLab site)
--  Using your Git Bash shell, create your SSH private/public key file pair (see Video #3 that is posted in the GitLab project), and email your public key file to Ray Harris
--  Create your own free account on GitLab.com, and provide your account username to Ray Harris (so you can be added to the public KCCM's public REPO)
--  Create your own free account on GitHub.com, and provide your account username to Ray Harris (so you can be added to the public KCCM's public REPO)

The URL for the GitLab project for June's resources is:  https://gitlab.com/rharrisglab/setupgitserver/tree/master
The email address to send the above stuff to is: rsm90123@yahoo.com
