  • This talk will walk through the explosion of data seen over the last half century and the varying database solutions that suited the volume and velocity of data at given points in time. We’ll take a high level look at the NoSQL market space and then discuss the architecture of modern distributed and cloud applications and focus on how DataStax Enterprise can help to reduce the complexity of these systems. We will then focus on how having search, analytics, and graph in direct communication with your transactional workload further simplifies development of enterprise applications. Lastly we will discuss Cassandra, which powers DataStax Enterprise, and enables us to achieve linear scalability and high availability across multiple geographies.
