Infopath is dead...well, deprecated.

Microsoft announced plans to deprecate, it is unwise to implement new form solutions using the program. Additionally, Microsoft has not provided any real replacement for Infopath, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Jordan will be presenting a solution for building custom forms in SharePoint 2013 and Online using apps and Angular.SP, which is a library he wrote for easily building custom forms on top of the Angular framework. Although this solution is perhaps not simple enough for an end user to build a form, it does provide a mechanism for even a novice web developer to put together a fairly complex web form in a short amount of time.

Jordan is a SharePoint Engineer at DEG. He has worked with SharePoint for the past 10 years as both an administrator and a developer. He has implemented custom forms for SharePoint using both traditional web forms and InfoPath.
