Welcome to 2016!
I apologize for the short noticed however, its time for meeting number two! From the first meeting I have learned a few things, first schedule a time that is a little later and second our group seems to be pretty evenly split between bioinformatics and health informatics.  With this in mind and the feedback from the first meeting we have decided to make the meetings focused on one or the other.
First up will bioinformatics, next will be health informatics, and the third will be a combination of both interest on a weekend day. Either Saturday or Sunday so that the people who are out of town and who have busier weeknight schedules can join us as well. Everyone is invited to all meetings please come to any and all you want to. We want to hear from you!
We have also decided that the group should, for now at least, remain a social group. The topics we are all interested in are so diverse its just so much fun to get together and talk about it.
