  • DID YOU KNOW...
    • We receive five times as much information to process today as we did in 1986.
    • Fifty percent of your brain is involved with visual processing.
    • It takes 150 milliseconds to process a symbol and 100 milliseconds to attached a meaning to it.
Let's talk about INFOGRAPHICS at the February KCDesignCore meeting!

Infographics help convey large chunks of information clearly and concisely. Adding visual elements helps guide the user through the story.
Sally Cox will present LIVE from San Jose, CA and we'll be able to ask questions and interact with her (not a recording!).
An Adobe Community Professional, Sally has a colorful background, including 12 years in electronic pre-press/printing and painting sets/designing props for "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" television show (WQED-TV, Pittsburgh). She also traveled the globe for 13 years as a very successful Adobe software trainer.
She does it all with humor and a positive attitude toward life! You may remember her presentation with Chana Messer during the #CreateNow tour in Kansas City a couple years ago. We're pleased to host Sally at our meeting, and appreciate her willingness to spend the evening with us!

Sally's agenda for the evening includes:
    • Organizing your content & defining the story
    • Determining when to use Static vs Interactive Infographics
    • Designing in Adobe Illustrator
    • Designing in PowerPoint
    • Creating PDFs as Interactive Infographics
    • Creating infographics online
It will be a fun night of learning and creativity! We'll meet in-person at Centriq Training to enjoy Sally's live presentation.
