  • Welcome back IoT enthusiasts! We skipped September due to the weeklong festivities of TechWeek Kansas City. There was tremendous amount of interest in the IoT technology and several entrepreneurs showcased their IoT offerings as part of the LaunchKC (http://launchkc.org) competition. I hope many of you had the chance to  participate in the event.
In this meetup, we are very excited to bring you a guest speaker from a local IoT startup - Ryan Sipes, CTO of Mycroft (http://mycroft.ai)  Ryan will talk about the technology used in Mycroft, and how the project interacts with IoT devices and online services using natural language. Mycroft just completed a successful kickstarter campaign and is one step closer to their promised land!
We look forward to seeing everyone at the next meetup. Please make sure you RSVP for this event, so we can get a good estimate.
