  • Introduction to making animated 2D Game Art
This is a class being taught for CCCKC in July of 2015. It covers the basics of making game art, from tools, to techniques for drawing, animating, and putting it all together.
Students will need to bring their own laptop, running Windows, Linux, or OSX. A drawing tablet is not required, but may be useful – It is completely possible to make pixel art with a mouse, but hand-drawn art works better with a tablet.
    * We ask for a $10 donation to CCCKC (for the entire class) to attend.
    * Members do not need to donate, and may take the class for free.
    Suggested tools:
    GIMP (Win/Linux/Mac)
    GraphicsGale Freeware version (Windows)
    Tiled (Win/Linux/Mac)

    Schedule
Classes run from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday nights
