  • In this talk we will go over the Universal App Platform for Windows 10 and how it will reduce the amount of code you have to use to support different device types like phone, tablet and desktop. Since our time is limited, I will discuss only these types of devices, but the application that I will demo, will eventually support other device types, such as Xbox.
The demo will feature and application I once published for WP 7, so this will not be Microsoft's demo code. Everything in my talk will be available on Github. For this demo, all the data will be in app, and if I have time, I will briefly go over Application Insights. This is Microsofts analytics platform that will help you gather all kinds of data on your application, including crashes.
