CCCKC - Kansas City's homegrown local Hacker-space would to welcome you to the the first event of the new KC Area Open Hardware Meetup group.

Our first meetup scheduled is to help bring like minded Open Source Hardware practitioners together, to help start a dialog between participants which may otherwise have never met.

For this event be prepared for a day of brainstorming, idea-building, friend-making and possibly career-enhancement. The day will consist of technical presentations that range in length from 15 to 30 minutes each depending on the topics. Each presenter will follow with a quick Q&A.

We welcome participants to enthusiastically take office to discuss and communicate with everyone. Whether you have a question to ask or want some advice, you will leave with a greater knowledge.

This Sept event will be held at and sponsored by the Kaufman Foundation in Kansas City MO.

We believe if this meetup is a success it may become the first of many Meetups, ranging from Hardware builds days to collaboration events and more.

We hope that while you're attending you find that you are with others who share a common interest, affording you more opportunity to communicate and share.
