Herb Sutter, an influential authority on software development and bestselling author, is coming to Kansas City for a free lecture hosted by Perceptive Software. Sutter is the author of four books and hundreds of technical articles on C++ and concurrency, including the widely cited essay “The Free Lunch Is Over” and its new sequel “Welcome to the Jungle”. Sutter serves as chair of the ISO C++ standards committee and chief native languages architect at Microsoft.
